A play that investigates how we judge the ways in which certain individuals choose to take on the struggles of life. The story follows two brothers who are reunited after some time apart and lets us in to how two people who grew up under the same circumstances end up living entirely different lives.

WARDO

WARDO (working title) follows an Indigenous adolescent boy Dylan into his 11th foster home. His guard is up and seemingly impenetrable, until his charmingly eccentric foster mom Dottie finds a crack...Shakespeare. For the first time in a long time he lets someone in. The two build a strong bond, a loving bond and that bond is built of their love for Shakespeare. It's awkward and beautiful to watch until Dottie breaks Dylan's trust in a horrible way. What he finds out about Dottie almost breaks him.Rather than fall, he turns to his culture and his people to find strength and ultimately burn the hole fuckin' house down.
